Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional to join our team as a Lead HVAC Install Mechanic. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team in the installation of HVAC systems. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in installing HVAC systems, providing guidance, training, and direction as needed throughout the installation process.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and the QC Coordinator to clearly understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Install and assemble HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, ventilation systems, and thermostats.
  • Perform quality control checks to verify installations comply with established standards and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions or performance issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment used, work performed, and project timelines.
  • Stay updated with industry trends through regular training sessions.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; the completion of a formal HVAC training program is a PLUS.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC installer, ideally in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, components, installation practices, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines related to HVAC installation.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools, gauges, testers, and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret HVAC plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
