Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional to join our team as a Lead HVAC Install Mechanic. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team in the installation of HVAC systems. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in installing HVAC systems, providing guidance, training, and direction as needed throughout the installation process.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and the QC Coordinator to clearly understand project requirements and timelines.
- Install and assemble HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, ventilation systems, and thermostats.
- Perform quality control checks to verify installations comply with established standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions or performance issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of equipment used, work performed, and project timelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends through regular training sessions.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; the completion of a formal HVAC training program is a PLUS.
- Proven experience as an HVAC installer, ideally in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, components, installation practices, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines related to HVAC installation.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools, gauges, testers, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues effectively.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team.
- Valid driver's license.
